I just got a drone dx and I have a concern: I can't completely screw the stock barrel so that the first few inches of the barrel are flush with the breech. As a result there is a slight distinguishable space between the breech and where the barrel begins underneath and I'm concerned that it could cause potential barrel breaks. The best way I can describe it is like putting two railroad tracks close enough without being connected to form one uniform track.

The weird thing is that if I screw in any other barrel, like the shift from my clone vx, to the drone, it screws in perfectly without the space. Similarly if I screw in the stock barrel to my clone vx, it also screws in perfectly without that same space as well. So I'm wondering why this happens to only my drone dx?

It's kind of strange that you mention this. I had this issue with my drone asa and only 1 of my tanks not threading into it. Macdev should take a look at their tooling and make sure nothing is off.

In the meantime, I would contact James via email or post here and see if he can get you straight.

$550 is the minimum advertised price, and what you should expect to pay new. Used is whatever you can get it for.

I'm a bit confused......you had one for sale a BNIB Drone DX in your sig you posted one day before you ask what you can buy one for on here? All of PBN requires NIB items to meet MAP pricing!

I know you say it will work fine with both, but is running a low pressure tank better than a hp hpa tank with my Drone DX since there is no LPR? I am ordering a new tank from ninja and would like to know. They also have the midpressure tank. What would you recommend? Thanks!

Well it runs at 100 PSI........so as long as your double that your fine! I've heard claims that a lower pressure will increase efficiency.......but I don't know! Also I though Ninjas were adjustable?

Thanks for youe reply, the ninjas are adjustable from 450psi-850psi. However they make a tank with super low pressure regulator that runs at 250 psi, it was made specifically for the Bob Long Victory and G6r, however it looks like it would be very efficient with my Drone.

The Tac drone, all clone versions, and DX drone all take the same detents. The older gray ones will work, but the newest green ones are the best. I have not broken a ball in mine in many cases of paint with the green ones. Timmy detents will work in a pinch, but they need an oring spacer behind them to make them fit good.

What bore is the stock matchstick barrel?
Which PSP mode does it have? Once you stop ramping it resets and you go back to semi or is it once it stops ramping you have 1 second to pick it back up? Thanks

The stock barrel is not stamped with a size, but according to my caliper, it is .688. As for the exact psp mode firing, I have no idea- no one around here uses it. Buy one and try it out.
