nt10 and nt11 bolt parts question

I recently ordered the nt11 spool and spacer rod for my nt10. The spool has not yet come in but i have installed the nt11 spacer rod into the nt10. So my question is is it normal for the nt10 bolt(w/ only the nt11 spacer rod installed) to stick into the chamber far enough to where a ball cant drop in? If so will the nt11 spool be enough of a size difference where the bolt will be in its normal place and the marker will shoot like normal or are there more nt11 parts i need to order than just the spool and spacer rod? Any help is appreciated!

Changing out just the rod should not change how far the bolt sits into the breach.

Have you put air on it yet? If you haven't then I would do that and see how far the bolt moves back. Make sure things are well lubed enough for the bolt to move back and forth smoothly. When you put air on it, it should cause everything to move to its "ready to fire" position, which should allow for a ball to come in.

If it leaks instead of putting the bolt back into the proper position, you have probably done something wrong somewhere...

Thanks!
