Guide for TPX first strike clip modification by Gunhead

We have just posted Gunhead's how-to guide for modifying a TPX clip to use First Strike Rounds. The pictures show 6 rounds in the mag, but a 7th can be added to the top. But, it may stick out a little.

Go download version 1 of the Gunhead 7rnd First Strike Clip Mod Guide now.

For those who do not want to modify their own clips...

We have finally released the Gunhead modified TPX magazines. These mags are CNC machined and upgraded to feed First Strikes better than any other option.

By popular demand, we have put them up on our site. For now, we have a limited run of clips. Get them while they are in stock.

For those who do not know, Gunhead has been around for 10 years. We had a few paintball products in the past, see our pbreview page. You can still get the old products from us, just contact us.
We have mainly focused on our CNC division and engineering consulting work.

i might have to check these out.

how well do the first strike modded mags hold onto the fs rounds when they arent in the gun? i cant keep 7 round mags in my mag pouches because they always drop the first ball from me moving around. if the fs rounds stay in there without too many isues, i think this might be fun.

I have this FS block from GunHead and have modified all 6 of my mags to hold FS's. They hold an effective 6 FS rounds, can do 7 but I would not as the detent can get stuck inside it.

With the 6 rounds loaded and the ball push in the locked position the mags hold the rounds well.

So far out of about 50 First Strike Rounds fired not a single misfire.

Magazines... they're magazines. Clips are used to load magazines. Mosin Nagant's, K98's, and SKS's use clips........ to load their internal magazines. TPX's use magazines.

Otherwise, cool idea.
