Depends what you mean. Perforamance wise i'm going to say yes. Speed wise most likely not, so it depends on your priorities, dear god i can't spell right now.l

I say it can compete with if not surpass the spyders in every category. Once you break the trigger in, you can shoot very fast. I can outshoot my revy pretty easily.

You should check out the Dragun TES though. At $250 its probably the best value in paintball.

The standard trigger on the Sentinel line has been tested at 14 BPS. The internals cycle alot faster than that, so with practice, yeah you can go faster than most of the sear-trippers.

Plus, once you want to upgrade the Sentinel into electro, you have the option of Electro-Pneumatic upgrades.

Dude, go with the TES. It comes with an eye. Has an electric trigger frame, wich lets it fire 20 bps stock, and it comes with an eye. A vision eye like on timmies and impies and bushies, ect. Plus for a lot less than a diadem you cam make it electro pneumatic with "The One" kit like timmies and impies and bushies. Also the TES being a spyder clone you can get parts for it everywhere, like new valves bolts ect. Oh and it takes timmy feed necks. The Sentinal has no eye, the trigger is a beast, it works like a spyder but takes none of their parts. The plus' of a Sentinal is that you will get attention from it because people wont know what kind it is, and AM has excelent cusomer service. Think about it dude. Go with TES take it from me who's friend owns a sentinal and has researched the heck out of a TES.

Good choice!

I never did like the taiwan company, seems like their products aren't up to 'par' plus is the eye worth it? I mean doesn't it sense a missed ball, why not prevent miss feeds from the start, with good working parts. (I can't really explain in detail, but the Diadem doesn't really need an eye cuz its parts work together so well and you can set the bps to ur maximum feed rate of ur hopper.) but ya..... I think you made the right choice.

of course its a great gun. You can do a search to find threads talking about how good the Sentinel is or we (at the forums) could list all the pros. Why would you buy it without knowing anything about the gun. It doesn't make any sense whatsoever, why would u spend like $215 on a gun that u are unsure of?!? I mean thats not something u throw around with.
