Well my buddy picked up a long time ago an Omni GLH Turbo which back in it's prime was running mid 11s. Ripped out the interior and all that yesterday, floor pans up front are trash. Interesting fact GLH stands for "Goes like hell" these things were beating on 5.0s in the 80s.
He's going N/A For starter, it's going to be a DD Rally car/Ice Racing car.
It's more then likely getting a rebuilt n/a DOHC neon motors for starter, if not for sure a SOHC. He would be running the motor it had because it was a high boost built motor but neon motors are cheaper and more reliable. It's staying N/A then going turbo we have 3 turbos in hand to choose from.
Interior, and 3 stomped mice bastards
The not so pleasant suprise
Cut out the spare
Engine bay simple greened and pressure washed, much nicer to work when you're not in a greasy mess
more progress So far we have about 8 hours into the whole ****, I'd say we're going pretty good. I was a little off on the weight all said and done should be round around 1700, but we will also be trying remove what ever else possible after.
Core support who needs em?
pushing the car away
Motor was out in right around 20 minutes.
Got the wiring laid out, going to start making the dash and **** tomorrow
hate troll do what ever you gotta do
