my intake parts and diffuser didnt come in today so all i did was do the pulley setup and chang the final drive from 4.38 to 4.76


the car is quicker. WAY quicker in the 8th but the shorter final driver is pushing me around 9500 rpm in 4th to hit the traps and my current setup cant make power that high. the oem intake chokes it. i ordered a gato performance intake manifold. he said it will be here before IFO on sept 18th. should make peak power around 9400 with that manifold and hopefully carry towards 10k. the goal is to hit 122 mph and that will put me at 9700rpms in 4th so i should be in good shape.






for now the car actually lost 1mph but went 2 tenths faster. still needs to 60 foot way better.

Haven't found the sweet spot yet. The k20 was nice just full throttle preload dump and it hooked. This is more touchy


Like 9k until 4th gear. Think I hot 9400 at ~116. It just has no power up there when I start winding it out. The new intake should give me atleast 15 hp and put the power right there so it should be interesting!

Yeah man I was in the 12's for a LONG time. 12.98 @ 104 was like 2007-2008 iirc


Yesterday I granny shifted the first pass to feel out the trans since it was completely apart just an hour before. It went 11.9 @ 114. That was and awesome "**** yeah" moment that it is an 11 sec car barely trying.

10's is gonna be a journey but my tuner is a veteran and has laid out a plan and it seems doable. Everything he has said has happened so far.

Diffuser and 4 inch intake (stack in the bumper is good for 2 mph after the 1/8th usually alone )
11.49 maybe quicker

Gato intake (15-20 whp plus shifted power band to optimize my gearing)

11.2- 11.3 and break the 120mph barrier


Weight reduction to 10.9 @ ~122

The car is still the same weight even heavier bc of the traction bars. He doesn't wanna touch the weight until it's full power and dialed. Less variables then weight is free et's

1.7 sec 60' isn't THAT bad(I have traction issues myself and I need slicks TBH).. and he wasn't spinning(from what it sounded like). I'm sure he could make it better if he launched a tad higher.

Street tires?
