Didn't know you were negotiating w/the fellow I snagged it from. For what it comes with, I think I got it for good value. I did just pick up an Efrod for it though. I want to be able to dump 8 pods dammit!

um some good guns i just dont like the color combos being offered. Well i had 2 all stock luxes with no eff rod and no spring mod and they both got 9 pods and a hopper all day long. They were super well broken in tho

I'm going to do an efficiency test with my luxe tomorrow, it is stock, well broken in and has a bubble gum bolt. I'll let you know exactly how many pods I get.

dude ask anyone on the team from last year and this year it was pretty freakin efficent.

by no means is it anywhere near a g6r eff. but as long as the guy before you knew what he was doing and didnt screw up the settings you will have no problem getting 8

I've talked to enough of the bros, and they all seem to be a fans the Luxe. I'd love to shoot a gun that is quiet enough to allow me to facilitate the communication during a match. <3 poppets, but they all are noisy.

Lmk what you think of it. I love the ego and def don't want to turn into a gun whore switching gear out all the time, but it's so damn loud.

I don't recall any Fb rants on SP, but it could have happened.

I mostly hated Adam and Billy's buisness strategies. Rip AKA.

That said, I've owned more shockers than any person should. I've had an odd dozen since 04. All colors, and varieties. In my experience they were (are) inefficient, and finicky. However, they were tantalizingly small, and shot well (god willing and the creek doesn't rise). All things being equal, I preferred the matrix line (until the advent of eye-pipes and no eye covers

).

I know a shocker when I see one, and the Luxe is a very nice sibling to the shocker. I'm willing to see if they did indeed work out many of the reliability kinks from the sft & nxt designs. That quick strip bolt design is attractive to me.

Fortunately, the Gardners won't be directly profiting from my purchase, and the SP logo isn't on my gear.

What is your experience with the Luxe?

PS: I literally stopped what I was doing, and did a jig when I ran across the news that SP was going under.

DLX is/was a sister company, but since DT isn't AG or BG... I'll overlook it.

yeah they wont change that lol. I had a super hard time changing mine but jarryd said his was easy to change part of the reason mine was so hard to change was they were all wadded up in the package for some reason.

Im not saying the luxe isnt like a shocker all im saying is the luxe is everything the shocker wishes it could be.
