Reflex will be smoother and quieter but the trigger is bad and the gun is not that realiable. Efficientcy is not so good.
The Etek 3 is ok in efficientcy but is loud and kicky. Upgrades make little to no differance. Your backed by Planet Eclipse which is great. If your going to get the Etek don`t get AM. Its just hevier. The extra money you spend on that is something you can spend on paint.
The Empire Axe is the best out of these because its efficientcy is ok, cs is great, smooth, quiet and reliable.

Thanks for all of the Input so far guys, keep it coming.
Out of those 3 markers I have only personally used the Axe. I loved the trigger and I thought it was a solid shooter. However, the only thing that took some getting used to was the longer body. As I was used to shooting the Invert Mini.
I go through way to many Paintball markers.

I used to shoot a Mini, now I use a G6R Talk about longer feel. You`ll get used to it.

Keep the pump hand strong
|
The Etek's ease of maintenance and consistency would win out, while the Proto will likely feel the best in hand, and the Axe is certainly the lightest and smallest.

That all depends on how its tuned.. Eteks just like Egos take about 8-10 cases to get fully broke in. Add a good ported barrel and a Pooty modded Cure3+ bolt and you will have one good shooting Etek3.. But I would take the Axe.

Ya I posted that because I recall someone posting that the LT is the lightest but now I dont see that post I would go with the Axe because its smoother, quieter, nice bolt out the back and I dont like the stack tube as much as what the Axe has and personally I dont mind the little extra cleaning and I would prefer to have a gun that used grease instead of oil but those last two are my opinion. I am actually going to buy an Axe soon and chose it over some other markers

They both are pretty easy to maintain, although I would have to agree with you...it's not a big thing but using oil seems odd after using grease on markers for so long lol.
Anyways, Not much love in here for the Reflex Rail.

I would seriously just look at the Axe. Even when the Etek is broken in its still loud and kicky and the upgrades do little or nothing. The Reflex Rail is like all other Dye/Proto markers feels good, shoots good (when they work), trigger horible, and reliablity fail. I know I`m repeating myself but when this is your first or first decent gun you realy wanna make a good choice getting the most reliable and shoots great to marker. Don`t even look anywhere else get the Axe.

Yup not much because its decent at best. But the things I said were something that could make or break a gun. Immortal said it very well above and like I said earlier go watch SticktoDrums review on the Reflex and Axe (they are 2 seperate videos) on Youtube. In the Reflex he says its decent at best and hates the trigger to death, overall he wasnt to happy but in the Axe video he absolutly loves the thing and at the end says to not buy the Etek and just buy an Axe

Coming from a Mini I take it you haven't owned a Etek3 or a AXE? Are you giving your opinions just from shooting them? Upgrades can and will help the sound and kick on a Etek. I should know after owning and tuning SEVERAL at the shop! If you don't have a lot of experience with any of the guns you recommend or put down then IMO your recommendations shouldn't be taken into consideration!
HOWEVER to the the OP the AXE is a great shooter and I highly recommend it over the other two that your interested in!

And apparently you can't read! As stated in other threads I mainly shoot BL and always will... And like I said to the OP the AXE would be my choice. Please don't make comments when you don't what the hell your talking about!
