Looks like my ball detent is done. Any recommendations for a new one?

I have had consistent problems with the cp detent. Shoots out on the first 25 shoots.....with three different detents.
The check it detent is great though, comes with steel and delrin ball. Straight copy of the shocktech detent.

Yup, do not get a CP, they are junk, I like my MacDev, Evil Fang, and Shocktech.

Kapp detents served me VERY well.
The PE Fang ones were pretty good as well, but not much different than most of the ones out there other than being noticeably lighter on the ball part.
Kilas suck. I mean they work consistently, but either thread in all the way and jam the bolt, or can't thread in enough, jiggle and fall out as a whole unit.

Fangs will wear out after 10-20 cases in my experience. Check it/ shocktech detents are far superior to everything else available.

I just like the stock regular one from WGP.
I used one of those Check Its once on a midblock and my pump arm snapped cuz it went too far into the body.

Thanks for the advice, I ended up with a shocker detent, which seems like it'll work. My local store actually had them which was surprising (you might say it was a shocker). I added an o-ring so that it won't accidentally screw in to far and hit the bolt, and for the price I probably should have just bought 2. I tried ordering the check it one but it was going to take too long to get here. Maybe when this one breaks.

I loctite the screw in at the spot where it don't hit bolt. Odds are you will never take that part out. Just ball and spring would needed to replace.
