There should be totally jedis who are immune to weapons except light sabers.. u assume they are deflecting all the shots... but they are hljust reallt absorbimg them with light saber taps as good as barrel tags..

I would like some thoughts on this:

I'm Toying with the Idea of adding a MEDIC player to each side.

This player will be allowed to HEAL a player that has been HIT,
(Except a head shot) buy using a "medic case" prop carried by the medic.

Medics can NOT heal themselves, and would need a certain "MEDICAL LIQUID"
(that would be spawned on the field in different locations) to heal the players.

Medic will perform the heal by wiping the paint, then wrapping
a medical band around the arm of the healed player. Hit player
may either CALL FOR MEDIC, or WALK OFF TO REINSERT.
HIT PLAYERS can NOT shoot after being shot,
and CAN NOT MOVE to find the medic.

Players will be allowed to be healed only ONE time, after a 2nd
hit, that player must remove the "medic band" walk off the field, and re-insert.

Medic would be indicated by a PINK or YELLOW tape band
on the arm, above the TEAM COLOR band given to every player.

Medic player must be selected by the generals b4 the start of the game,
and can only change at the Lunch break of the game
(if you want to replace him with another player)


Too complicated? TOO MUCH POSSIBLE CONFUSION ?

What do you guys think?

I think the medic allows for people to bend the rules and abuse it.

Trip does have a point. I've seen the medic get exploited by players before. It would only work if you had a ref assigned to that medic all day, and that's not really a fun job lol

A fuel cell, also referred to as a fuel core,
was a part of a blaster or star ship engine that contained its fuel.

Fuel Cells are Very expensive.....Very Dangerous....but Very necessary for most equipment in the Galaxy

on the medic topic, at western wars, they gave the medic a whole bunch lanyards with a "MEDIC" card attached to it. when hit, you called for the medic(no moving or shooting) the medic would then make his way to you and put the lanyard on you. resume play. after the second hit, you left the field and turned in your medic lanyard to the cp for further use. i think they used 3 medics per side, you can check with Herc on that(he was the general) it seemed to work pretty good, each medic was assigned a specific area or squad to roll with and keep them going. food for thought

How about a "Mobile Bacta Unit", similar to how the old NJ NAM games used to do MASH Units? Instead of a medic, have a respawn station that can only be moved every half hour. If captured/overrun it goes back to the scoring table and must be purchased back with points (or some other form of game currency if you guys were planning on that).

In addition to the Jedi thing, I think it's a good idea but instead of making them invulnerable (and thereby taking a serious amount of punishment from people who would shoot the crap out of them anyway) give them a shield and lightsaber (foam nerf sword?). Limit it to like two Jedi per side, maybe even give them a few "spell cards" for special abilities to help with missions?

Jedi/sith will have a shield and saber...and there's only 1 per side
force heal (for the role players ONLY) is the only power (ex head shots)
at this time they will have unless i can think of more...
Their role is more support, and we dont want to make them TOO POWERFUL
so they aren't allowed to run props, or missions....
