Ninja Paintball releases SHP Regulator (950psi and 1100psi)

Just released last week:

GS-Series SHP Regulator:

The SHP Regulator is a Super High Pressure regulator that we have designed specifically for Tippmann markers running a Response Trigger and for Automag owners using a Reactive Trigger. There have been many instances, especially with the Tippmann's running RT and/or Cyclone Feed, where we have seen problems with the marker not working properly and it was due to the tank regulator not outputting enough pressure to run all of the air-assisted upgrades on the marker. Our answer to this problem is the SHP Regulator.

The regulator has two different output pressures depending on which marker you are shooting. For the Tippmann markers running a Response Trigger, you can remove 1 shim to reduce the pressure to 950psi. Ninja Paintball does not recommend using the 1100psi setting on your Tippmann marker.

If you are shooting an Automag and you want to increase the sensitivity on your Reactive Trigger, leave the pressure set to 1100psi. If you don't want as sensitive of a trigger, you can adjust it down to 950psi.

Markers: Tippmann markers with Response Trigger installed

Great idea taking care of the old schoolers.
At first I couldn't figure out why you'd want SHP but it makes plenty of sense. I know some guys the RT Tippys and they have the same issues you mentioned.
I'll have to pass this along.

lol thanks guys. We know this doesnt necessarily cater to the "tournament" crowd but there is a need (even though it might be small) for a high output regulator to get the full potential out of the two markers described above.

Its great that you guys came out and put out an idea and product to cater to a relatively small category of guns.

I'm curious about this too. totally forgot about those reflex kits from back in the day. I believe they were pneumatically assisted triggers systems as well right? If I'm not mistaken...those things are pretty hard to find nowadays.

It shouldn't. Your cocker is running low or medium pressure, not high pressure. Your inline regulator is already regulating down your tank pressure. This is for high pressure guns that don't have an inline. Like my AGD RT.

Thanks for the input John. Its been a long time since i've heard of those kits and I wasn't sure how they actually operate.

Its amazing how much of a following AGD still has after all these years! One of the longest running fields in IL (Fox Paintball in Millington, IL) still uses mags as their rental markers

Those classic mags still work well for us at the field. Heck, somedays if I was working and I was done working a private group and I forgot my gear and I would pick one of those up and play for a few open games.

If I ever get a mag (owned 3 in the past few years.) again I will surely pick this reg up for my 90ci Ninja tank.

No. I just spoke to David at Azodin and the Kaos is a standard high pressure marker that does not use air-assisted upgrades like what you would find on the Tippmann's (Response Trigger or Cyclone Feed) or on Automags (Reactive Triggers).

If you want a Ninja reg for that marker, I would suggest going with our standard adjustable regulator set to 800psi.
