Airsoft revolvers?

so i recently posted in here about getting a first gun and got some awesome feedback so im here to ask another newb question. the field i played my frist game at had a pair of guys who were using spring revolvers, they said theyre available on amazon for like 25 bucks. my question is for a sidearm thats cheap and doesnt need a lot of power or strength would these make sense?

the spring revolver seems like just a gun for fun really. my sidearm is spring but ive used it once. spring sidearms generally dont get used . especially if you have an aeg. crossman makes the same revolver in a co2 powered version. I think it was $60 or something which is a really good price for gas pistols. if your gonna get a side arm that your gonna use, get a green gas or co2.

Do not buy a spring revolver. They may seem cool, but they barely shoot 20ft. If you want a spring gun get a regular pistol that requires the slide to be cocked back. Spring revolvers build up a tiny amount of air/pressure to push the bb out that throwing them would be better. Gas revolvers on the other hand, are pretty good. Only two downsides is that some of them shoot 450fps+ and they only hold 6 or 7 bbs.

Honestly, they're all just about the same. As long as you avoid the clear ones or the ones that come with cheesy laser, red dot, flash light and jetpack attached to the rails you'll be fine.

If you have about $60 and aren't dead set on a pistol you should check out the UTG tri-shot shotgun. It's pump and shoots 3 bb's at once at about 350fps. They come in two versions; one with a pistol grip and one with pistol grip+solid stock.

Nonsense. I know plenty of small kids that carry normal-big guns. I know a kid who's 11 and about 5' that carries an M60.
