GOP Debates 8/11

It's ongoing. So far, Michelle Bachmann just took a giant dump on Tim Pawlenty's head. Anything negative about him he fails to deny and bull****s. He again failed to admit badmouthing someone when he is confronted by them. Jesus he is so weak.

Romney scored points on economy. He'd probably make a decent Secretary of the Treasury actually.

Ya OK pal. Go hang some "Alex Jones for president" signs in your yard.

Newt just destroyed Chris Wallace and called him on trying to tear down every candidate. Herman Cain just did too actually. Jesus Wallace is getting hammered.

Ron Paul has good ideas, but he's jumping from ideas too quickly

Love how Romney says every year as governor he balanced the budget in MA like its some kind of accomplishment...it's a law that states must balance their budget every fiscal year

Like or hate Newt, the guy is damn smart. He's just bluntly calling people on their bull**** and fakeness - it's great. He's the smartest guy on the stage, hands down.

and yeah, Mitt needs to stop with that. Surprised Newt hasn't said to him 'Duh, you're supposed to do that Mitt. *******"

Wow, Rick Santorum using straw man arguments and Big Conservative Gov't (newly coined term by yours truly) to basically say the 10th amendment is useless.

Looks like I won't be voting for him in the NC primary...

Very true. IMO I think he's doing the best; he continuously brings ideas to the debate, not just talking points, and is very articulate. It's unfortunate his background in marital affairs and rhetoric will hold him back.

Yeah I know. It's such a terrible reason to not at least give him strong consideration too. I bet his IQ is 20 pts higher than anyone on the stage. 40 pts more than Pawlenty. He's the only person not giving talking points on the stage. Wow Newt just crushed the entire question panel as they worked for a gotcha question again. Crowd acknowledged it as well. If not president, perhaps he would make a Secretary of State. He's too smart to not have nearby for any president IMO.

Romney just gave contrasting statements, more talking points. Ugh

Yeah I noticed that too. Where did that come from - because Osama is dead?

Huntsman just scored points about China, issues with China, and his knowing a lot about China. That was spot on.

Jesus ANOTHER question for LOLenty? Holy hell, get this worm off the tube. I'd vote for Obama over Pawlenty, no joke. He sounds so unbelievable. Panel keeps skipping Herman Cain and Rick Santorum for him?

Ron Paul just made too much sense for the vast majority of this forum (forum being the Republican panel)

Haha Santorum is getting hammered for questioning Ron Paul about being involved in other countries, and Paul annihilated him.

Yes, he did make too much sense for most of them. I'm not sure if anyone else agrees with him, but the audience sure did.

Bachmann just lost points IMO. Paul is gonna hammer hers well.

Mixed response for Ron Paul on his non-interventionist policy, when before he was getting a good response from the crowd.

I need to thank Rick Santorum for eliminating him from my list as well. The man is a pure war-hawk and doesn't seem to have any idea what he is talking about on foreign policy.

Fresh Idea: If a President wishes to start a war with another country and commit troops, he should be forced to enlist a son/daughter into the army. It's mind-boggling how quickly the GOP will commit to war, and Ron Paul called him out on it.

I think that was due to going over the time limit. He got cheered afterwards in the end.

I think Ron Paul just ended his presidential aspirations. Pawlenty has eliminated himself. His face pisses me off.

Ron Paul just hammered Santorum and Bachmann IMO.

Newt scored again.

Romney wants a constitutional amendment for no gay marriage. Huntsman said the states should decide. I agree with Huntsman.

Haha Ron Paul is awesome. He's questioning the sanity of the questions being asked, and he has a valid point like Newt did earlier.
I love how Herman Cain steps back to let Paul and Santorum look at each other. They hte each other like Bachmann and LOLenty do.

Had to chuckle at Romney's wording of "A man and a women," instead of the GOP pundit-popular "One-man, and one-woman."

Holy hell, John Huntsman just scored major points with his answer to Gay Marriage. Took a lot of courage for him to say he supports civil unions at a GOP debate.

John Huntsman? Yeah he did, I agreed with him - it's a state issue. Romney gets the economy, doesn't like entitlement programs.

edit: Ya **** Rick Santorum. Dude looks ready to send a cavalry charge into Iran followed by tanks and bombers because they have people who don't like us. ****ing lunatic.
