Tan Sri Tony Fernandes is the Malaysian visionary who kicked off the budget air-travel revolution in Asia. It’s not surprising the local press calls him the Richard Branson of Asia. The two friends go back 23 years ago. Named FORBES ASIA's Businessman of the Year for 2010. He is Malaysia's Top 20 Richest. (Allan: He went for a few rounds of paintball in an exhibition match with an Australian team during the Paintball World Cup Asia 2010, and yes, he does play paintball).

Its really cool and all and its great what you're doing for the sport. But whats up with the $70-$80 cases of paint?
how about the 150 entry fee for probably the nicest tournament you will ever experience? or 650 for d1? ...... pshhh whatt these are great prices. thats what people should really be asking. scenarios here in the states like skirmish sell off for like 80-100 a case. and they do just fine year after year after year.
really this makes me 2 things...
1.) excited to go across the world to experience a great paintball trip.
2.) it makes me ask how come my LOCAL tournaments are more expensive than this.
maybe im just raging but it seems like if paintball business men could really throw things down here in the usa and give lots and lots of effort. they too could hold awesome events.
but! so far allan phang and his team of ballin tournament makers are stealing the show.
the paintball competition will be held in a Duty Free Island of Langkawi ..
can you get US$0.40cents per can of beer in your country? how much money you going to save?
so i guess the 70-80 per box is cheap ..
