Nice, I'd like to pick up a 5d. Still using a t3i

I need to get some new tools as well. My makita rotary is finally wearing out and I'd like to pick up a new DA to replace my pc7424.

Kind of, when I turn it on sometimes I have to rotate the plate before it start. There's like a dead spot in the rotation.

I'm serious about it needing done, I have no time and the 2 hour total commute every day takes alot of that time too, lol. But I can't afford to swing paying for a detail unless it was just say for supplies. Lol.

And my dad and I bought a Flex when I got my S4 cuz the paint wasn't in the best shape and the Flex did the trick.

Sup noobs.

Possibility of getting a new shop in the future. My stealership has 2 lots, the one I'm on, they closed sales down and moved it to the other location, but there was no room to move my entire dept. and the diesel shop. Apparently the land we're on is leased, and it's up in about a year and a half. They just bought a bunch of land behind the dealership and they're talking about building us a new shop.

It'd be nice, the lighting in ours is terrible, and they're cold as crap.

Preferred brands for leather restoration product? I've seen great results with Leather Honey but is there a cheaper alternative? My seats feel like rocks. I'll be pulling the seat covers off of my saab to restitch some spots and figured I might as well recondition them at the same time. I tried a cheap bottle of spray leather conditioner from a chain store and it did jack ****

In love with the SMArnold "nano" clay towel. I'll never use clay bar again. I'd definitely look into them.

I'm a detailer. Anyone tried ammonia with lemon to remove stains? I'm trying to figure out how to get cars done faster.

steamer + enzyme cleaner/ eco-orange (which I highly recommend, worth the high price)

There are very few things I've come across that eco-orange or an enzyme cleaner, haven't been able to get out of upholstery/carpet. If you don't have a steamer, you can spray it before you use your normal carpet cleaner.

If you're using the enzyme cleaner, don't use a lot of it, it's designed to be used in extractors, so a little goes a long way when it's not diluted.

Full detail on my corvette today. Thinking 205/opti coat 2.0 should do the trick. I need to take my wheels off and re-opti coat them as well, might wait for another day to do that

Finally got to try out my Megs 101 today. It's the european version of 105, and wow it is good. used a Flex DA with yellow LC pad and 101 on speed 4 on the front bumper of my vette. A LOT less dust than 101 with better cut. it actually finishes really nice for a heavy cut compound too.

Ok so I got a few things to rescue and a few things to just do a simple detailing.

My Saabs have a ton of wear and tear on the paint and the bmw is in good shape.

I wanted to do a full restore on the saabs (possibly a new clear) and just a clay + wax on the bmw. I have a polisher from when I repainted my truck, but I was wondering what sorts of products people recommend. Also, what non water cleaner do you all use.

What products do you recommend for this, I can take pictures another day as well.
