indeed, else I would have had my Jeep in MS and right now. You can't even include it as weight for your shipment if doing a PPM(formerly known as DITY) and haul it on a trailer.

single.

also, my job got a whole lot gayer. I'm now not allowed to browse anything other than DOD websites and news sites. Oh, and I can't read a book for pleasure anymore either. So now I have essentially no way to occupy the 11 hours a shift when I have nothing to do.

That makes a difference. I'd move my own stuff if it wasn't so difficult. I have 2 cars and no truck/trailer.

the money is the milage anyway so you can make a decent amount just by doing the paperwork and weighing all the stuff you were going to take in your own car anyway. they paid to move my toolbox which is always in my trunk almost two thousand miles.

We recently had an individual find a body jewelry stud on the flightline during a FOD walk. When we told our troops that they were not to wear body jewelry ANYWHERE on their bodies while on the flightline, we met a little resistance with some younger troops who tried to use 36-2903 as a crutch for wearing body jewelry that remains unseen. We then had to re-establish the fact that 21-101 states NO jewelry that may fall out is authorized on the flightline. (AFI 21-101 para. 14.19.2.6.2)
That's at Eielson btw.

Crane, how do you get into taking pictures for the military. That seems like it'd be a cool gig.

Oh, stupid *** question, but I rarely (if ever) wear my blues.

What do ya'll use to keep the ribbon racks from tipping forward? I've used the same piece of cardboard since tech school and it's really not working anymore. I have a POW/MIA thing coming up and the cardboard is failing me...

I don't wear ribbons in blues unless it's service dress. but when I did I never had many so I could get by on a thin piece of high density white foam. it comes in sheets and should provide the support your rack needs, so to speak. I use it to keep my wings looking good.

And yea, it's full service dress. Last time I wore it...I was in trouble. (Figures). Do they have that foam stuff in the MCSS?

Well I talked to my recruiter, told him I was interested. Tested well enough on the ASVAB to have my pick of jobs, and I waited for a slot. These days you may be waiting a while though. Shoot me a PM if you have any other questions. I get asked a lot.

I don't know if they have any large enough depending on the size of your rack but since there is a lot more material than a shirt they also make these little plastic discs with a hole in the middle that fit between the frog and the back. those might do the job. and yes, I less than three me some AFBlues. I sort of want to start my own called butterbar follies or terminal lieutenant because I'm tired of all this **** and there's enough stupid going around to give me plenty of material.

MCSS does have that white foam stuff, and those circle thingies. Now to just get my blues dry cleaned....I think my pants are the ones I was issued in basic. O_O

Someone asked what that cord was used for on the M9... there's a slot behind the mag well where you can insert the lanyard clip then that clips onto the lanyard. Basically so if you drop your pistol you can drag it behind you. I heard a story about some army guy on a convoy wearing an unauthorized holster had his 9 fall out when he got back into the gunner and dragged it all the way to base and all across the damn fob haha.

Unless you're required to wear that crane take it off... uber gay
