Here's a few shots of just one of the major points of
contention you'll be apt to run into during D-Day. The
site is named Colleville, after a French town which
was heavily fought over during D-Day. Note the two
story church has no roof, nor do either of the other
two major structures. This is in keeping with how they
looked after allied bombers and off shore fire got done
softening up the area just prior to the landings. This
site is also the one which is used for the event's Night
Game, that Thursday evening prior to the main event.
Talk about madness, imagine 2,000 players viying for
control of these three buildings while large fireworks
air bursts and parachute flares light the night sky.
