The closed bolt kits and mech kits are done and have been done. we just need to order more parts and sell as needed.
G5.. I am not sure if you realize how much money it costs to have a run made so that its actually affordable for everyone involved, including the consumer.
We're estimating to spend $XX,XXX by the time we're done with the first run.
Hell, I could have paid off my new car three times with that. :d
(and if you're really counting, it's a 2012 honda accord coupe that I drive like a Ferrari..)
We can't simply ask people to throw money at us for a pre-order or for store orders to fund it 100%. We have a fair amount of money right now, but it's not going to be enough to fund it 100% ourselves. With that being said, all of our profits get funneled right back in (minus a pizza or paneras here and there.. at least in my case XD). If you look at the stuff in my ebay store, I tend to buy stuff in bulk and resell. I make money yeah, but I have excellent prices that are very competitive. The whole point, even before this project at hand, was to provide great products at prices everyone can afford. Bolt engines cost more all around, and it sucks. We are really hoping that by having both runs (G3/G4 and possibly G5 if we play our cards right), it will allow us to lower the retail prices enough to help beat out others, sure, but also be able to get them into the hands of more ballers.
I know how much paintball is. So does Jonathan.
I started my ion hoarding and BSTing because of it. Believe me.. ****'s expensive. lol.
So, going back to the original point: the other projects are stepping stones. Every little bit here and there helps because in our case, we can exponentially increase the profits returned from a small sale.
I started my business with $20 when I was 8 and have grown it since there and we do not plan on stopping.
