My friends' friend owns a CNC Shop that is local and he *finally* has a slow period, so we're going to see if we can figure out any rough costs and if anything needs to be changed from a machining prospective.
Ironically, I also remembered that my other friend used to run some crazy shop where they *invented* and patented a method of waterjetting via CNC and I guess they still have that shop up and running, so now I am speaking with him about our projects. He has over 20 years of exp in the business and used to design and produce drill bits for extreme conditions for a MAJOR US manufacturer.
Of course, we're still looking at a few other shops and such. One is local to Jonathan as well.
In terms of testing and such, we're still plugging away on the tester kits.
We're working on purchasing the G4 we need (Big thanks to YetiPB!!) and was just informed by Jonathan that we don't need to buy tech t kits since the markers I bought already had them, lol. XD

Obviously you do not "understand the process".
I can judge you however I'd like since it seems like this is a troll/alt account based off of your limited posts and jumping into the DP forum OT, etc.
If you want it to come out quicker, I would suggest you come on by and make sure to bring your knee pads - you'll need them.

Most people in this thread own TechT Bolt/Engines for their $100 G-Series markers. What makes you so angry about others trying to innovate? And why would you care if others want to spend their money on this product? Why don't you leave this thread, take a deep breath, then come back with a more positive attitude, and join in on the fun the rest of us are having.

If this bolt can turn a DP g4 into a better than Reflex spool and put DP up there with far more expensive guns, then I WANT one!!! I would love to see the G4 directly compete with the Geo!

they already do...... once you break in your g4 with the techt bolt engine it shoots almost as smooth and quiet as a geo. i had a kid a my local field that was shooting a geo and told him that i bet any money that my spec-r shot almost just as good. well lets just say he was convinced that he just wasted about 700 dollars more on his geo. he couldnt believe how smooth my spec-r was.

I have a Techt bolt in my G4 and it helped a lot. It took my G4 and made it as good as my Reflex. I want my G4 to get 1400 shots per 68/4500 and be super smooth and quiet.
IMHO anything PE is probably over priced. Should an Ego cost $1400? I think more like $900 would be more realistic. A Geo should be $600-650.

Did you have to do anything special to get your g3 to work that efficiently? 1400 hundred shots is 10 pods of paint. That's pretty good for a spool valve! The Clone VX typically gets that and they are in a rare crowd of efficient spool valve markers.

I should have pics of the G3 version tomorrow or Saturday, it's in the vibratory tumbler right now. Including a back cap that sucks way less than the original prototype
The cap design is not necessarily finalized, it was simply the first variation that I ran through the CNC mill. There may or may not be a few different designs that go out with the first prototype batch.
