Members must own AT LEAST one Alien of any make and in the initial post they need to post a picture with user name and specs they feel they want to add. Specs are bragging rights and have no grounds for ranking in the Army or anything else.


Set the record straight. Following the rules for clubs this is NOT a OT forum, we will discuss aliens in EVERY way which pertains to EVERYTHING having to do with them, technical comparisons with other markers are cool along as its not a VS topic that is bashing of something particular. If you do something like a VS use technical references. Also talk having to do with ANYTHING A-A related is good. We just can’t get into an all-out OT conversation. I think the above guideline gives us a wide range of topics right guys?

Indeed, I'm thinking about picking up a DM8 for the down time though. Plus having an extra gun means my girlfriend doesn't have an excuse to not come out and let me shoot her up a little bit.

woke up 2 hours before i had to open my field so i could wait outside the post office for my first Alien. OH MY GOD worth getting up early for. threw the pops and barrel camera on before i went on break and DANG now I know what all the hype was about. Griffan2 reporting for duty!!

if jack hasn't already thought of it/already patented by vanguard. drilling out the ram and filling it with delrin to make it a lighter weight? The grips make it very hard to see when i turn the gun on, maybe make the eyes of the alien logo clear so its easier to see with the non OLED boards? (yes i know the tape i put on defeats that entirely but that's not the point.) other than that hands down most accurate gun ive ever played with. bought it to be a backup..... put my creed right back in its box.

For 2011 he did lighten the rammer and bolt. You can call and get those parts for your 2010 if you want. And I'm gunna have to agree with you on the grips, I've got a virtue board in mine and it's almost impossible to see out In the sun.

a budy of mine has a tadao board for me so i can use my 4c eyes as well. hopefully that helps, if not ill just get some from spd.

has anyone used a barrel camera for the "sweep bolt test"? after looking at todays footage i noticed alot straighter of a shot and i think that if jack had someone run an accuracy test with regular then sweep bolt, the improvement would show up really well.

Yeah, they've run some accuracy tests with the sweep bolt versus an open face bolt. The videos are in the Alien subforum somewhere.

but with a barrel camera? ive seen the tests jack did but never to were you could see the ball travel. oh. using the creed bolt orings (square) quieter and more consistant of a shot, but i took them off just incase it was a bad idea. any input?

I bought my Indy i have no need for another gun for a very long time. i do need to send my board back to Virtue so i can have my Ion back up and running again.
