vs2 charging...

just got my first spyder in years. it's a vs2. cosmetically it looks really nice. much better than any spyder i've ever used. haha. anyway, i plugged it in but how do i know if it's charging? should either of the led's be blinking or anything at all? just wondering because they aren't. the guy said it hadn't been used in like 2 years but the battery still had a little charge. only enough to click the noid a few times before going dead but it seems like the fact that it still had even a little charge is a good thing.

Well I charged it last night for about 8 hours. Turned it on this morning & it will click the solenoid just a few times before it powers off. Same thing it was doing when I first turned it on & the guy said he charged it before shipping. Oh well, guess it's been sitting too long & won't take a charge.

If you just want to test it, use a regular 9-Volt alkaline. You can probably use a regular 9-Volt in the field as well, but you will use a lot of batteries.
