so, wait, with the shocktech body you still have to remove the rear frame screw everytime? or just this time when you took the whole thing apart?

You have to remove the rear frame screw to remove the backcap, then unscrew the firing can, then pull the bolt out. It's considered semi-b.o.b. The Deadlywind bodies are the same way.

The only true bob bodies are the Lucky 5's/5.1's (good luck finding one), & the TechT Sleepers, which are bank-robbery-expensive. Don't know about other bodies, like the Powerlyte one, if anyone remembers those.

aah. ok.
then i'll just make my own semiBOB mod like i did on a stock ion last week. I mean drilling a hole and tapping it for threads and sawing off the rear end of a stock body took me no time at all...

buuut if you get a DW body you can mod it to be TRUE B.O.B. And it works phenomenally!! i did mine that way its sick but they are as hard to find as the 5.1s now

what exactly did you need to do? and are ALL DW bodies semiBOB (including tactical, foehn 2.5 etc)

perhaps I could go with the XE-conversion kit instead...

to mod the DW bodies you remove the rear screwand pull out the can and back plug that becomes the new doughnut, put 3 set screws to keep it in place on the rear of the can, tap the body itself to larger threads, cut the new screw with the larger threads to a level height so it does not destroy the new can combo. Screw it in and you are golden.

^Trinity Sick bodies? Huh, didn't know that. Googled it and you're right. I think Trinity was widely unknown at the time, a lot of people probably glanced over them.

Yup. The Trinity BOB body is actually really nice. I thorougly enjoy it as much as the regular sick bodies.

Ion BOB body

I have had the DW negative body kit for a couple of years and it is awesome. No leaks ever...one 1/8 inch allen key to remove rear body bolt then pull off back cap. Then unscrew firing can with your hand. In 30 seconds I can remove bolt...Does it need to get any easier than that ??
