Solid State Drive Questions?

Ok so I'm running low on drive space and need another solid state drive I have this motherboard http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131981 and am using this ssd http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820147248 and was wondering can I put a different model of ssd in and would this ssd work in my computer http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820147373 even though I have sata 6 gb ports, on my motherboard and the ssd is sata III?

I have almost your exact same mobo, just AMD. I'm kinda wanting to switch to Intel now though. Trying to see if when I do that, I'll notice any speed increase.

It should. I have the same setup except AMD. I thought you weren't supposed to fill a SSD because then it can become corrupt easier?

You shouldn't defrag them.

SATA 6Gb/s is SATA 3...
As long as you have a extra power connection and SATA port, you can use it...

Difference between 840 and 850 Evo is read/write speed. Learn the research a little...

The only time it matters with the same size and model of SSD is when you are looking to do RAID.

As long as you have free ports on the motherboard you can use it.

Samsung seems to be the best drives from a reliability and performance standpoint.
