Whats the Speed of Smell

Wv Jetta Speaker Replacement Help
Car: 03 VW Jetta 1.8T
im looking in to replacing my wires speakers she said that they went out today and there is no bass.
So what I'm looking to do is put some subs in the back doors and some mid range subs in the front doors. or would it better to just do mid rang all around?
any videos or links would be great thanks.

the jetta has alot of padding in the doors, things can get tricky really quick! its an easy job to mess up if you dont have someone who knows VWs telling you what to watch out. I tried to do it on mine and i totally ****ed it up. Then i took it to clawhammers shop and they had it all done in half a day. (and i got some 12 inch subs installed and stealth amps).
clamhammer has an account on here too, he gets alot of pms about audio advice, but he will get back to you. send him a pm, most of those guys in the audio thread dont know their *** from a coax jack.

If anything, midbass drivers in the rear doors, get some components up front.

If you do not know Vw wiring don't mess with it. Get a mk4 Bentley and read the wiring diagrams in the back.

Did you even read the thread? It's not about wiring, it's about speaker choice.

The speakers are riveted to the doors in the MK4's so unless you can make your own mounting plate it might be a little difficult.

Most of the difficulty installing speakers is unrelated to wiring.

thanks for all the help guys sorry i haven't been on here to update. yeah I'm not messing with the wiring unless I'm butting in a new amp and some other subs. all i was really looking to do right now was just replace the old speakers with new ones. I know that the stock speakers are riveted in place does anyone know what thickness of spacer i need? thanks again.
