And on the topic of me being a nice guy spanky, I am a nice guy. And trust me i wish i could drive the bags out there or free. But as im sure u are well aware, nothing in life is free. It will cost me a little over 200 dollars in gas to get there in that vehicle.

Soooooo im a senior in high school and cant afford to work a 40 hour work week, try a 10 hour work week. dont have 200 dollars I can just give away.

However to further conclude this conversation. The only reason i am taking my 14 mpg car out to vegas is for the simple reason of hauling gearbags. Given that I am providing the car and everything that comes along with the car, such as maintenance stuff, I think my part in this is well paid up. If i was not hauling gearbags across states, i would be more inclined to drive my 28 mpg car and save money on gas and pay for the trip myself. But that is not the case.As for the money matter. Gearbags do not weigh 20 pounds spanky. Try more like 50. Anything over 50,as im sure your well aware, cost money to get on a plane. In addition to the inconviniece of having to strip down majority of your gun and tank for our oh so nice security officers down at the airport.

I think pitching in for my trip to vegas would be quite fair. Considering I have to go out of my way and pick up another member of our team and drive for 12 hours to help out my TEAM. As you oh so nicely exemplified in your previous message.

If i really didnt care i wouldve bought a plane ticket and told everybody see you in vegas.

As for it being a cluster****. Yeah it probably is, as well as everyother teams first national event probably was. We dont need your input on how to better handle ourselves in the future because we will have learned from this expirince and be better prepared next time we go.

This is a team thread, if you have nothing positive to say, then dont say anything, as im sure u were informed of in grade school.

Perfect! Like I said in my very first post, I apologize. You obviously have a very good reason to ask for help. If you, and everyone else, would have read the last part of my first post you'd have seen that I wasn't trying to be a dick. But, you didn't, you assumed I was just trying to piss people off. If Tater Tot and Dilan would have kept their pants on and not jumped my nuts and just waited for you to answer my original question NONE OF THIS would have happened. And I'm sure, had they not jumped my nuts, your answer wouldn't have been as full of douche baggery as it is.

I am also fully aware of the bags fees charged by airlines. I'm flying to Ohio Tuesday with what could be two over size bags, one of them could even end up being over the 50 pounds if I don't watch it. That being said, my gear bag, with two tanks, three guns, two pairts of pants, five jerseys, three masks, 2 hoppers and other crap didn't weigh 50 pounds... Not even close.

If you've ever flown with gear, it's not all that much of a hassle. The guns dont need to be declaired, nor do the tanks. You just pull the reg off with a strap wrench and you're good to go.

As for the cluster ****... This is one of the reasons I am the way I am. So many of the people in here are so full of themselves they can't accept advice from anyone. They think they know it all and have all the answers. Then, when someone offers advice, they panic like all that person is trying to do is piss them off. I am honestly trying to help your team. I am honestly trying to help you. Especially you, AJ, since you used to play FOR ME!

You, your little Tater Tot buddy and all new players(and I use that term very loosely) should embrace and welcome every bit of advice you're given. You should look at it from all angles. The good, the bad, and the ugly. See what point is being made. See how you can use the advice given, even if it's not in it's original form, and try to use it.

The reason you end up with a cluster **** is because you have too many people doing too many things. You HAVE to be orgonized. Without organization there is chaos. Chaos breeds panic and panic destroys teams. (CRASH, anyone?)

I can tell all of you now, that from what I see in this thread, you are going down a very beaten path full of broken teams.

You can argue what I just said all you want. You can tell me you're all different and you're all gonna stick together. But I've heard all that before. I've experianced it before. It's happened to me. Don't believe me? Ask Hollywood.

The first blow that eventually ended up in the fall was the first national event we "planned" on attending. Of the 10 or so peole that "planned" on attending all of TWO of us went... Hollywood and Myself. Wanna know what happened to the other 8? A CLUSTER **** HAPPENED!

Everyone was in their own little world. Planning their own stuff... Booking their own flights, their own rooms, saving their money on their own... Sound familier? Now yes, I do understand you've got more of your duck in a row than that. I'm glad you pulled it out. But the elements of disaster were there.

You might learn from this and do it all differently next. Hell maybe you won't and you'll end up just like some of the other Local Turned National teams... Maybe I could have kept my mouth shut and you all would have turned out just fine. Who knows.

I understand you don't like me. I don't care. I understand you don't like the things I say. I don't care. Most people don't like the truth. I understand most of you think I'm just some ******* that doesn't play anymore. I don't care. I understand most of you think I don't know a damn thing about paintball, national events or running a team. Once again, I dont care. The Ten Year "Founding Member" badge under my name should say that I might just know a thing or two. Maybe I've seen and done a thing or two... Hell I donno.

What I do care about is seeing other teams go out and win. I wanted to see my team go out there and win. Had all the elements to do it. But it never happened. I see a lot of the same things that happened tro me happening to you guys. Maybe that's why I'm spending so much time fighting a battle I probably can't win.

Anyway, go out to Vegas and have fun. Do like Bobby in The Waterboy and pretend everyone out there is me.. Shoot 'em in the face. It'll make ya feel better.

Player event information & code of conduct.

In order to have a smooth event this weekend, we have compiled some basic information to help you and your team. If you have a question that you don't see answered here please email us at info@nppl.com.

Venue Address:
NPPL 2011 Las Vegas World Paintball Championship
2901 Las Vegas Blvd. SO

Las Vegas, NV 89109

The Las Vegas Police Dept has requested that no markers be publicly exposed other than on the field, staging area, or chrono range.

Display markers in the trade show vendors area by the vendors is acceptable. In short this means your guns must be stored out of sight unless you are in authorized "private player paddocks" areas. Your markers must be stored out of sight at all other times. If you need repairs from a vendor, you must put it in a bag and transport. Do not have your markers out in public areas, hotels or in your cars.

Markers displayed or exposed in any other way could result in an immediate ejection from the event or a 3 game suspension

This rule applies to............ players, vendors, staff, judges, visitors, and anyone else at the event.

This includes the parking lot, hotels etc..

Please be paintball responsible!
.

Please do not complain to ID staff when you have to pay your $20.00 extra for not registering online ....And don't tell them that you did register when you know you did not.

My answer wasnt trying to be full of douchebaggery. Just honestly how it was. However, there is a certain point where that advice turns into just kind of bashing. We took your advice into consideration.

Telling us that we are not organized and we are a cluster**** three days before we leave is not advice, its just you making sure we know that.

If you wouldve told us this three weeks ago it wouldnt have been looked upon with as much hostility.

Telling us how much we suck at planning wont help us win and do well, as you claim is what you ultimatly want. As you well know from your tourney playing expirience, changing our plans 3 days before we leave is an even worse idea.

However lets not clutter the thread with worthless talk. The conversatino seems to be between you and me. If you wish to talk further, just hit me up on a pm.

Yes, if you remember, go to the NPPL nppa website, print, fill in, and sign the waiver and bring it tomorrow. Also print your PayPal receipt for your ID.

Also, don't forget to turn back your clocks tonight! Make sure you show up tomorrow at the right time!
