Has anyone replaced the drip rail moldings on their car? My dad got some repop ones and they don't fit worth a damn. The back of one side is almost hitting the quarter panel. Looking for a place to order some that are decent, don't get the ones from DallasMustang.

I've done a ton of work to my 66. finishing up my rack placement, getting my rear discs on. I got my new wheels and tires in. Got to fix my passenger side quarter panel. It's pushed in just a bit so it'd hit my tires. I went with 17x7's up front fitted with dunlop 225x45's, and the rear are 17x8 245x45. American Racing Torq Thrust M's with an Anthracite finish. I dropped off my new 302 roller block to get cleaned up and honed turns out the block is perfect, Just going to re ring and bearing it and slap her in place. Everything is coming BACK together now finally!
Pistons after they were put in the steam cleaner (they look almost new after after some carb cleaner spray.
Lower intake after clean
Wheel fitment
That exhaust is just hanging there just FYI
So Let me know what you think thus far! Shoot me all your $0.02 I've also got my brake booster all in place... Clutch pedal in along with my hydraulic slave set up all set in place... Now I'm working on getting the column back in I ordered an instrument cluster that has an additional tach.... Everything is coming along now! I've still got a little body work to do here and there BEFORE I get to drive it and what not, but she SHOULD be running here soon I'm hoping for one month to run.

4.25 front 4.5 rear. The Fronts clear np. The rear tire slides just within the fender lip although I am going to roll the fender. They clear though. Once rolled I can probably do a 255 rear.

Starting to look like mine! Except mine doesn't roll! I ordered my new leaf springs.... etc... EVENTUALLY I'll do an 8.8 conversion because this little one legger 8 inch is NOT going to handle the power my motor will be putting out.... But so far looks good man!

well mine is looking worse than in the picture now, havent uploaded new ones. dont knock the 8", a guy in our club has one in his torino. with a spool and i think the gears are 4.11, hes running a 460 that is punched out some, and also on nitrous, no problems yet with the diff. and im worried that my granada 9" wouldnt cut it, so i bought a 3" tube 9" from a older tbird, that is spooled up. i have a sport trac diff with the discs on it, and it looks like the spacing is about right for it to fit a stang. some of those come with decent gears.

8 Inches are great rear ends just... It's been 46 years on 2.73's one leg and its getting tired. I don't know how much longer MINE will stay together now that my motors going to have nearly twice my old torque.

Oh, my bad my man. Hit me up if you need something.
Mustang update: Got my roller 302. Went with a .040 overbore making it a 308. Went ahead picked up some nice Keith Black pistons. Gt40 heads did the trickflow performance spring kit. Grinded the crank and balanced it. Putting a trickflow Stage one cam in it. Also, got a GT40 upper and lower for it. Should be a nice little runner when I get done. I also got my R and P all in and set. Finally got that all situated since i had the wrong rack.

I honestly really want a lifted truck. They just truly appeal to me. I mean I like trucks stock too. But a lift is what I'm set on so I can feel big and bad. And run *****es over if they piss me off. Can't jack up a mustang

To each their own.
Update : Got my Kieth Black pistons in, rods, Crank, cam. We're gettin' there
And, I painted it a gloss black came out really nice it looks wet all the time.
I also ended up painting my Valve covers, I figured I'm going to get new ones down the line but I'd make these work for now... I just sprayed them with high temp rattle can stuff and I was amazed how nice it came out. They're dry in this picture but they feel like glass... That Duplicolor Ceramic high heat paint. I'd suggest it to anyone
