Finished up my cowl repair turned out really good... In this picture the left side's welds haven't be grinded on.. but it's all finished had some nice rust black paint I coated down in there... Seam sealed the fresh air cylinders... Turned out nice.
And BTW those little magnetic copper/brass plates (don't know what they really are) LIFE savers...

She was pretty bad.... BUT, after I cut them out it wasn't THAT bad because the rust stopped pretty quick as you traveled toward the center of the cowl... So just the pan on either side well fixed the rust on both sides if you get what I mean.

Would be easier if the apron panels and core support bolted on...

Right on! Post pictures of progress...
I've decided to do a 5.0 EFI conversion and t5 5 speed. Gotta' slide in my rack still but.... I think Im going to slide my motor in before I do all that apron panel work.... Probably would make things easier.

i might re-use my block, let the engine guys worry about what block to use depending on crank/rods. might even do a crate engine.
quick question for you cmwry8, do you have light under your keyswitch that lights up for a little bit when you start your car?

No I don't... I ripped out my entire harness... I WILL but as of now I do not. I've ordered my entire wiring harness and I've got to do my EFI conversion.

Got all new Control arms... cleaned up everything got my coils back in (Terrifying job) discs gettin' ready to go on. Making progress little by little. Got all my stuff going ON now... Not much left to come OFF. Decided I'm shaving drip rails I'm going to pull my leaf springs out and get new ones maybe 4 1/2 or 5 leaf spring. Clean up the rear end... Then it's time to figure out how I make an EFI 5.0 work.
