Eh better late than never.... Well here are some of my new pictures...
Here I've ripped out my pans that the previous owner put in he did SUCH a terrible job I'm re doing all of it.... Basically They were liquid nails'd in... Did a terrible job so I'm redoin' those...
Then another problem I've got that I'm tackling is.... My Cowling....
Yep that's my passenger side fresh air vent inside the cowl. So, I've got to cut that cowl up And slide a patch pannel in there... (So much for a California car right?)
Got my rack and pinion shipment in will be sliding that in.... Working on my C and D pillars (I got some rust there) I assume the car at one point had a vinyl top because there would be a trim piece there if I'm not mistaken.... It's quite a bit of work so far but, just takin' it bit by bit.

Yeah the cowl kinda' sucks you gotta' cut it off to get in there but, It's just rusted out on each end.... So I won't have to replace the Entire length of the cowl.

i grew up with my dads 1967 fastback. 390, 4 speed, and no power steering made it a pain to drive lol a few years down the road I plan to find my self a project 65-70 (only years worth restoring) to work on. I'll see if i can find some pictures of the 67

Yeah I went ahead and went with a manual rack and I got some 4 wheel disc power disc brakes... Decided ability to stop was a Important thing to have. And definitely post up pictures of the 67 if you can man.

seen one so far being converted to a eleanor , looked pretty decent. probly the usual fitment issues. but if you were to resurrect a fastback stang that would be more mone if the body was bad

Sparky, have you done you're rack and pinion yet? Because.... I found I'm going to have to pull my headers out etc... to get my steering column out. If i have to do that I think I may just pull my engine rebuild that and the tranny and finish the rack with the engine out to make it easy... Only problem is I'm scared of my headers not fitting or something, Just curious if you've done you rack yet.
