I'm not too well versed on the 1.8T but I'm sure the same school of thought would apply, they are both K03's after all.

So even with a stock tune and a 3" dp no harm would come to the turbo? Because it would stay on the stock tune for a while until i could afford one.

Yeah, it won't harm it, some say its even better for the turbo cause it dissipates more heat and gets the hot exhaust gas away from it. But, tomorrow is the last day of APR's annual Summer sale, might wanna look into that, definitely worth it.

Very slight vibration in the spring, no cupping to be seen, and there isn't any side to side play. Maybe it's just starting to go bad? I'll try and get a recording of the sound if I can.

Lul, driving home from work I pulled up along side of a Ram 1500 with an obnoxious exhaust, he kept womping the exhaust doing like 45 mph...). I hadn't thought anything of it until he kept right where he was the whole way. I'd speed up a tiny bit, he'd follow, I'd check my speed and slow down, he'd follow. So I did a little third gear pull from about 45, and he did the same...except it took him about 3 seconds to catch up and I was only at 65ish mph...
Anyways, he caught up again, this time honking at me. I'm like "this dude srs?" Whatever, I played along, he honked three times and I ended up making my turn about 1/4 mile down the road before he got to the stop light...
Silly hillbillies.

if you can feel it, you need a wheel bearing.
it's THAT simple. compare it to the other side or even jack up the front, put it in gear and let her roll and grab the spring up there.

Or buy an S4, remove the grill badge and don't let little Hondas, thinking they're racing a 1.8T A4, stand a chance.
Well, I got the epoxy off the drink by [carefully] using a plastic scraper and heat gun. Looks like the trunk has been repainted, or at least the upper part of the trunk, and the rings were just taped around (there's a step-up, if you know what I mean). I want to have a badgeless trunk, but I don't want to have to get it sanded down and repainted

Just ordered a Carbonio CAI for my MK4 GTI, looks promising. I did notice after switching from my short ram to my stock air box a loss of boost and some power. This should remedy that loss

Thinking about vinyl wrapping my wood grain interior trim. I'm going to go with the 3M DI-NOC wrap, but undecided on color and size.
Carbon Fiber
Matte Black
"Glossy" Black
And would a 50" x 1' piece be enough, or should I go with the 50" x 2' and save whatever's left over?
