CP Rail/ASA vs. Eclipse Oops
Trying to decide which Horizontal air source adapter to put on an e-orracle build I'm doing. Has anyone used both...or even just one? Care to compare:
- Build Quality
- Tank Position
- Ease of use for ON/OFF knob (probably most important)
- Look and feel
Any opinions or feedback is appreciated.

ii really think the only thing that would really make a difference is which one you like the look of most.
CP is known for making great asa's, the rapper in my sig has one.
the tank postion is about the same on either, both are easy to use but i feel the CP is a bit cleaner looking since PE has tried to mill off as much as possible, so its a tad lighter but ive always thought they were a bit busy looking.
both are great, but overall, i have to say CP. overall fit and finish is better i think, it just looks better on a bigger variety of guns. i guess you could say its a "less fancy stuff, just make a good quality product" kind of thing.
now a CP or a bob long gear drive would probably be a much harder choice.

Thanks for your input.
The Bob Long Gear Drive...does it mount onto a rail/drop or does it mount directly to the bottom of a frame?

I got 2 eclipse oops asas on both of my cockers - one works great and the other one gave me some problems with leaking and I had to flip the one o-ring, but after that it now works great.
They look great (always found most CP asas to look meh)
Knobs are real easy to turn on/off
Tank position is good, prolly drops it about half and inch down and around half and inch forward. Though this can all be changed with the T rail that comes with it. You can reverse the rail and asa if you're using a 45/4500 tank to get some extra length.

Drop forward bad. Drop back ergonomically good.
I have a CP on my SR, with a Bloodline rail.
operation - Smooth, minimum effort .
Looks - super simple.
Build - no complaints, but no comments after that. I haven't had to rebuild one yet.
Tank position - based on your mounting configuration. Like I said, I drop back.
I like my Shocktech better (on my 06 Black Magic), but the CP does it's job.

Thanks all for the input. Now I just need to see if I can find a good looking setup in gloss black!

i think it mounts right onto the frame. its like it has its own built in rail. the two screws on the side turn the two screws that go up into the frame via gears. then the on/off knob on the front with the macroline also coming out the front.
