you should flip the gun, so that the hand is in the upper left corner, this is because the first thing i thought when i saw the poster is that blood does not run up arm. Also, i think you need more blood, because the amount you have now seems like an afterthought. Also, dont cut the front of the barrel of the gun off, and when cropping at a body part, it is best to do it at a joint, in this case, the wrist; instead of in the middle of the hand.

I don't think I agree with you on that. It doesn't have quite as much impact if it begins and ends nicely in the frame.

I need some way of limiting the amount of sound coming into the camera, I'm having a lot of clipping issues. Would a beachtek adapter work for that?

For the movie poster, it just feels too crowded for me.

Maybe in this case less is more. Like the arm (from elbow to hand) with the gun coming into frame with a large puddle of blood forming under it.

what I do a lot, is go about a normal day and find something funny that happened. observe someone else in public that does something retarded. if it makes me laugh, I build on it.

I wrote a script about an energy drink after seeing one of my friends freakishly hyped up on one. came out well.

I wrote another script a few years ago about mountain dew. my freinds and I drink it in unhealthy amounts. so we made a movie on it. basically...horribly addicted to mountain dew and running out of it.

Look for some free scripts online. While shooting things on a whim is fun for a while, I think it's much more rewarding when enough pre production is put into it.

I kind of wanted to do a parody of "When a Stranger Calls" just for fun, and since it would be very cheap to film .... and because i watched it the other night.

I want Premier Pro

Hblack, what are you shooting with.

I have had it with my GR-HD1U. I need a new camera.

Could you shoot me a PM? I'd like to chat with you.

Thanks

I've got my crew secured for Trapped, the location and time for the auditions is set and I've put up casting calls on craigslist and mandy. Doing storyboarding this weekend, and still going over the script.

Fatty, if you're actually interested in a part in this send me a PM.

Overnight I've received 14 emails including people applying for all 4 roles, zombies, 2 makeup artists and 1 bts photographer. I love the internet.

Okay, so i want to make a good snowboarding video of the riding this season, I was looking into purchasing Adobe Premiere elements 4, I downloaded the trial over the summer and played around with it a little. I wanted to go back into it and try it again, but my subscription ran out. =/ So im looking to purchase elements 4 and make a pretty cool video. Is this a good program to buy? Ive been using windows movie maker for my other video, but i need to upgrade, when playing with it it seemed pretty easy. Should i get this? Does anybody have any expericnce with this program?

heres a video i made about a month ago with wmm. Its not great i know, and yes that video was front a digital camera. lol

Its one of the best WMM shorts I've ever seen. I liked it. While not all the effects were well executed, it seemed you had the right idea. Music was an interesting choice, it worked I think.

Nice work.

I'm looking for something under 100 $. Thanks.

P.S.: will it work with this shockmount?

Haven't used it, but from the specs it looks pretty good. I'm pretty surprised it's that cheap actually.

And yes, it'll work with the SM3.
