09 slg randomly firing full auto

Hey guys, like it says in the title, my buddys slg is firing full auto randomly when aired up in the middle of streams Ie- shoots 3 shots fine then a stream
of maybe 20 shots full auto and uncontrollable.

Im thinking that the sear isn't catching the bolt which is causing it to do this. If it is im going to advise him to buy a new sear and sear spring, just looking for some input.

Thanks,
Andrew
Co-Captain of the Vicious Bunnys

For the record i have stretched the spring and checked the sear for grease.

Make sure the bolt is not over lubed. Also try adjusting the sear, it should be held in place with a small screw. Adjust that screw

had to mess with the sear quite a bit and stretched the spring out to about 2 inches long
