True, I saw your thread on MCB.
I built one also as a final product in my CNC machining class at the local tech college. Used a merlin extrusion, excal bolt cartridge, cyborg LPR, custom milled (shocker sport model) style bolt, MQ2 and a custom valve spacer, also milled my own frame. KM2 Mini Morlock as the brain and a ASCO vented 5 way noid for controlling the bolt cartridge. Machined the parts on a HAAS SL20 and VF4, programed it all in surfcam.
I need to do a slit on the frame for an external battery (I milled the frame window too small) and drill and tap some 6-32 holes for holding the trigger switch. Using a HES for the trigger. Want a type III ano when its all said and done. There is no cosmetic milling to the body though and its about as big as a shocker sport. I may get something lasered on it just so its not real plane looking.
Here was a concept drawing of mine and 2 snaps of my surfcam drawings for the toolpaths on the valve spacer and frame. The concept used a intimidator front block/lpr combo, I dropped that idea when I did the ASA into the frame.
