They told him to take it to Walmart and exchange it. I worked at Walmart, I know their return policies. And they wouldn't do it without a receipt.

So what they were saying was that they didn't have a copy of MW3 to give to the winner? False advertising > Lawsuit > Bank > Super sweet entertainment room with hooters girls to change games, get booze and make sammiches >

Not my store. Not for a video game. Not since they returned a tv with no box. Which turned out to be stolen... And the empty box was actually returned at a different store for a refund as well.

Loved the story, etc. I thought Brotherhood would be a quick cash in title, and again they made it even better and the story... those last few moments. Rarely do I beat a game and go "WTF. I need the next title NOW. WTF HAPPENS?!?!?!?" and it did that.

So I've been waiting for Revelations. Even though it's another Ezio story I am okay with that because I dig that they're taking him forward again and not just "the same guy" we played 20mins prior.
after getting boned by the first AC, I'm never buying it again. I feel like i was anally violated by buying that piece of ****. It was beyond repetitive and the fighting sucked dick.

You should really give the second one a try. While the story falls in line with the first one, it's almost like AC2 is a completely different game. Still HUGE, detailed maps, but there is so much more and enough was done to do away with the repitive aspect of AC1.

Hey guys, I've got a question about backwards compatibility. I was gonna ask for a PS3 for Christmas (Poor college student ), but the one caveat is that it HAS to be able to play FFVII-X along with the normal PS3 games and Blu-Ray. I have been getting conflicting information on which ones are BC with PS1 and PS2 games. From what I've gathered
*40 and 160 GB models are NOT BC
*20, 60, and 80 are, depending on when they were made??

Can anybody help clear this up? Thanks!

The original ps3's which were 20, 60, and 80 were BC. Any 2nd gen and later are not BC.

the 80gs were (i own one)

The difference is that the 60g had hardware acceleration and could play any ps2 game. The 80g had software acceleration and can only play games approved by sony

i dont think the 20g is BC but i could be wrong. good luck even finding a first gen consol though. nobody wants to give them up

Any and all ps3's (as I know) all play PS1 games, for a cd is an easy disc to read. I play all my old ps1 games on it, and even downloaded a couple off of PSN.

Yeah, I heard that ALL PS3s have the chips from the PS1 in the them, but only some had the PS2 chip.

So overall, I would be best off getting a 60 GB but if I can't find a reasonably priced one, I should look for an 80 GB?

You will not find any reasonably priced backwards ps3, unless it's broken.
When I worked at a game store we were selling those things for 400 used, and people would buy them for that. This was after slims came out, too.

Really? I've been finding them for like $200 working and then <$100 broken.

Remember not all 80gbs are BC. The first ones were but then the conversion was made the the non bc ones. Honestly, you might be better off getting a slim ps3 and a old ps2 which can be found for dirt cheap now.
