Went to the bike store to get a new mountain bike. Went in with the intent on getting a trek 3500. The dude asked if I'd be riding trails, and I said yes. He said to get the 4500 cause the 3500 would break. I look over the 4500, oblivious to the specs he's talking about, and notice a crack right smack in the middle of the lower tube. Look at him "You sure this wouldn't break too?" ****er...

I had a specialized rockhopper, old one at that. I rode the **** out of it on the west coast. However, in this area, there are no specialized dealers that I could find. I didn't listen to anyone, btw.  Just simply went with something that won't break the bank and has a good support in the area for parts and whatnot if need be.
