Chapel Hill Area Teams
Hey Guys,
Are there any teams you know of that are based out of the Chapel Hill area?
And if not, would anyone be interested in starting one?

I'd be interested in starting one maybe, I'm a Sophomore at UNC CH.
However I am a California resident so I have no idea what the paintballing scene in NC is like, I didn't play at all last year.

^This is your best bet for finding a team.
PBC Greensboro is probably the closest to you with the best competition. I drive out there and it takes about 40 minutes. Wednesday night xball has been good this summer.

They do play serious X-ball up there I'll have to admit... But when Dio puts up the new x-ball field he's working on, that's going to change.

The presence of Dio's x-ball field will clearly change the demeanor of players in the state.

Lol, clearly I did not elaborate on what I meant. What I was trying to say was that as of right now, PBC is the obvious choice if you want to play serious X or speed ball in the chapel hill or Durham area. They have the best fields in the area and the players are serious competitors. But....
Soon Dio (the owner of Xtreme Kombat) is going to be putting up a great turf Xball field. And when he does, guys from chapel hill won't have to travel as far to play at a great field. That's not to say there won't still be great players and a great field in Greensboro. I'm just saying it will be nice to have a great field in Durham as well. And the answer to Jake's question will no longer be to "Go to Greensboro".

How long should Chapel Hill players expect to wait to see a turfed xball field in Durham? I don't know Dio by any means, but it seems like a lot of fields in NC have been working for years on projects that were going to be done "soon."

An excellent point. I know it is a high priority for him as he has NO speedball field at all. I won't give you a time table yet but I will be sure to post when it is up.
