I made ramen while not in "a normal state of mind" forgot to add water, lit my microwave on fire.

Well the way im accustomed to making the best ramen is

1) boil 1 cup of water on stovetop, in a pot ofcourse.
2) put ramen/flavoring in.
3) let it soak for a minute, serve into bowl.

Basic suggestions. Add all or some:
Add frozen Pork/chicken/seafood balls from Asian shops
Add vegetables like Chinese cabbage to make the soup sweet.
Add eggs. When cracked into soup, either stir to make soups slightly creamy or pouch the egg with runny yolk.
Add fried garlic or onions from Chinese shops. They come in small packages.

If you have fresh meat, marinate it with pepper and soy sauce. Prepack into small portion and freeze them. When you want to cook ramen or other dishes. Just take it out of freezer, defrost and cook.

I usually fill up the bowl I'm using with water then dump it into a pot and boil it then add the noodles and boil for a minute or two then I crack an egg into a bowl, whip it around for a minite then add a splash of water then whip it around for another minute then pour it into the boiling noodles after adding seasoning to the noodle water. After that I pour the whole concoction into the original bowl and wait a few minutes for it to cool.

Then it tastes like boss.

one time I was cooking ramen and my bro's chinese mom was over and she offered me some fresh *** bok choy and chinese steak for my noodles, **** was in tents

Sauces and condiments are a good way to spice them up without adding any extra prep that meat or vegetables might.

Soy is good, so is hoisin, tobasco or sriracha or whatever hot sauce you like cant hurt. Salt and pepper are obvious choices. Seasoning salt and butter are some more ideas.

Ramen is a about as close to a culinary blank canvas as you can get. Go wild, just try whatever comes to mind. At worst your idea sucked and you wasted 10 cents on ramen, big deal.

I sometimes add butter and chicken or beef bouillon. Makes the **** salty but gives it more flavor.

I like to add small pieces of frozen broccoli, green beans, and corn to mine. If I'm feeling frisky I'll let it all get to a nice boil and crack an egg into it. Stir pretty furiously for a minute or 2 to make sure the egg gets cooked properly. I usually like to use half of the regular seasoning and add in cayenne, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, a bit of oregano, and crushed red pepper. Makes for a very spicy, more satisfying than normal bowl of ramen.

Add a touch of sesame oil(little goes a looooong way) and a little bitvegetable oil and use less broth. The flavor and mouthfeel added by those oils will help out a lot, and has minimal cost since so little is used. Skip the sesame oil if you don't have it around, the vegetable oil will help it as is, though it won't add much on the flavor side. Ramen doesn't really have any fats in it, so adding some helps it out a lot.

Yes. By Heat. Yes.

The Japanese also like to add a hard boiled egg sliced in half. I like to add baby bok choy, sesame oil, thin sliced beef, and sriracha sauce.

For Ramen, if I'm not adding anything else, I'll drain a little water once the noodles are done cooking and then add the flavoring packet then let it cook a little longer.
