Will the dm series have a 50 cal insert like the egos and if do when will it be available and how will they do it.

by no means do i think 50cal has died. I do think that it is slowing down just because people dont have the money to throw an extra $150 into an ego to make it shoot a certain type of paint or the extra $50 for aloader.

I dont see dye making the push into 50 cal unless PE decides to make an effort at making something for their geo series. IMO I think dye has done just about all they are going to do. I dont think they will make a popit just bc its dye, and i think they will continue to crank out new nts, and dms no 50 cal.

It would be very interesting if dye backed 50 cal if it would pick up though. I gave 50 cal no consideration until PE released their kit so i wonder if dye did the same if it would help 50 cal

Yea I wanted to see I wouldn't mind shooting 500 paintballs out of 1 hopper just blasting away

Well if they would press the issue more liek going to the psp and keep letting people shoot them and try it then there would be a hype surrounding it and thats the best way to market it is to just keep the hype up bc what gets people to buy stuff? recomendations when someone tells you they shot a gun and its the smoothest gun they have ever shot it makes the other person start to wonder if they should pick one up.

I just think if Gi really really wanted to sellt his to the players and they were dead set on it. They should buy a field and put it up at an event. Then let players and fans play a game with 50cal so they can see what it would be like. I know for me it was a hard decision wether to give it a go or not bc it doesnt save me any more money bc i already get a paint deal... so switching to 50cal doesnt save me a single cent infact it cost me just a little more. but i wanted to try it

I know its a long shot to think that they would set up a field but i was at galveston.... i didnt hear one word about 50 cal there was no hype. Now when i was there if they would of told me i could try it for say $20 to borrow a gun, mask, and 500 paintballs i would of been all over it just to give it a shot before i dropped $200 making the transition

I bought an 07 ego and dropped a conversion kit in it its freakin legit. You will have to ask lincoln about it its not as bad as everything thinks it is.

Think about it, there's really not a market for dye to start doing 50cal, would suck to manufacture somthing and have hundreds of them never getting sold. Unless 50 goes (mainstream) like used in psp, nppl, millenium, any pro leagues, I just don't see it happening. Yeah I know I ressurected the thread. The money it takes to manufaction and get certain molds for the product, its expaaaansive.
