Just Getting Started

I noticed that there isn't any clothes geared for girls. Does any one know of somewhere to get some? The men's clothes are too big on me most of the time unless I get a XS.

Look into youth gear. That should be small enough.

Is there any line for girls with colors other than blue/red/black/white. I am not planning on playing in any tournament, just for fun, so it doesn't matter if it is a legal color.

Not really, you can find some pink/purple gear here and there, but it's not really profitable to market to females, as the majority of players are male.

Buy the clothes that are too big for you, they will be good for paintball

Invert carries sizes to accommodate smaller people. Dye makes small and youth sizes as well.

Yeah women don't make up enough of the market share to warrant a company making a female line of clothing. Look at how many female actually play and then factor out how many of those only play recreationally and dont own any paintball specific equipment or clothing

My wife wears either youth l/xl clothing sizes or adult xs/s for her paintball pants/jersey. Raza which was suggested above is a great place to find a jersey with some color. As for pants, someone did suggest the pink JT team pants, but you probably wont find a pair. You can find some halo shells in all sorts of colors and than probably best bet is a proflex mask for some color.

I forgot to check sizes, but ANS has some jerseys that are some different blues as well as neon greens, yellows etc. no pink but they have a very large selection. from what i have seen JT has tended to have one of the widest ranges of colors available. welcome to paintball and happy hunting.

I will check that out. I just am not really wanting to pay for new stuff yet but beggars cannot be choosers right?

a lot of people play in cotton long sleeve shirts rather than jerseys...its agg

but in all seriousness there isnt much of a difference between a jersey and a shirt. make sure you get it big. (look at it this way if its so big you wouldnt wear it in public but it doesnt go to far down past your waist then its perfect)

Hell, I rock bathrobes and suits, what are these, so called, "jerseys" you speak of?

Seriously. All you need is some solid playing pants. The jersey is for when you get sponsors.

Just pick the size that fits best. I'm not sure what else to say.

Colors wise the standard colors are red/blue/grey on black for the most part. Some companies make yellow/gold, green, and things like that. Outside of that masks have more options with different colored JT proflex and dye i3 frames.

Honestly, pants and knee&elbow pads are most helpful. Jerseys aren't anything special and are a waste of money unless it has your name and sponsors on it imo.

I disagree with everyones opinion here about jerseys. You dont need to be sponsored to validate wearing one. Its a piece of clothing designed to withstand the rigors associated with paintball. In my opinon, its better to have a jersey thats designed to be durable then a plain cotton shirt that might not be. And with some the little bit of padding built in might prove to be of some benefit for you.

I like having a jersey because my normal clothes will get holes easy when I play paintball. So i agree, there is a purpose of them.

I see where you are coming from saying that jerseys are an agg thing and that you can play in just a long-sleeve. But here is my view, I run a customizing shop where I am from. I put the names and numbers on the jerseys, so having a pink jersey would be awesome along with having my name on it. Also, like i said above, my clothes get holes easy.
