So, I just think we need to stop paying all those obligations entirely so we can see the world economy collapse

Protip: Payment of obligations is constitutionally mandated - they get paid first before other spending. In dummy terms that means Barry is lying to you when he acts like the world will end if the debt ceiling doesn't get raised.

Yes but where the money goes first and who gets paid first is a discussion this nation has never had to make before. Our credit rating and currency would devalue quickly, and discussions could lead to if the American dollar should still be the world's backed currency. It's a situation that I think the president and most Americans would want to avoid, if we can. Although there are some on the right who would do as you claim: make short term payments now to those who constitutionally are obligated to it, while shirking those who are not.

Guys, raising the debt limit is too disastrous. Defaulting and lowering our federal credit ratings is the only positive outcome.

Too bad it won't do anything to fix the economy.

Given the BS advertised as spending cuts, and the likely tax increases, I disagree.

What? Define your words, or learn up about how useless fiscal stimulus is.
