Looks great, but I definately won't be paying $200 just so I don't have to memorize lights.

And replace batteries ever again... and have better performance, and make use of drill and training modes, which can improve individual elements of your technique when trained with over time.

Still, for some, the screen makes it entirely worth it. But I get ya, it's not worth it to you. Just wanted to make the point there is actually a lot more there than "just" a screen.

The grips kill it for me, would like to see someone mod some stock grips though.

What happens if get bad battery and it drains when powered off.. It can happen just like can with normal 9v.. Which could also be bad board. Then you are stuck not playing for the day.

Also does it use the 4c eyes correct or just bottom 2 like all your boards.

All Virtue OLED boards support True 4C eye technology. It was only the initial non OLED boards that did not support all four eyes.

Does the USB port allow direct programming or do you still have the buy the additional Module?

I like the idea of the rechargeable battery and everything else. I just wish the grips were more like Virtue's old OLED grips that were the ones that wrapped around. Personal preference. Also if it could still have the prongs for regular 9 volts just in case there was a problem with the rechargeable battery, or at least an extra rechargeable, would have been really nice. Still not bad the way it is though.

I knew this was coming, it was just a matter of time. I'm not sure if I'll buy it though. I would definitely like to see more options for the grips. I like my wrap-arounds.

Looks great, I've loved every OLED board I've had. The addition of the Li-ion 9v is an awesome new feature.

board is fantastic.
grips are stupid.

I've had virtue oled on 3 of my guns. Great boards, and better grips than the ones tadao come with so thats a big selling point to me.

Everything has a lifetime warranty. The batteries if they are defective we will replace them. You can actually buy extra sets of rechargeable for about 10 bucks. PM Tom or give us a call, I think that's the price. (I hope it's not more or I'll look like a prick...)

As it turns out, you can also put a 9volt battery harness on this board. Except for one small problem. The grip frame is so narrow it wont fit on account of the screen. That's part of the reason for the batteries -- other part is it's actually a nice benefit to never have to buy new batteries... just charge it up before you go play. I suppose it's one more thing to do, but I'd just counter if you spend that much on your game to buy a nice gun and then board like this, you'd probably benefit quite a bit from a bit of preparation before hand.

Still, if you're a rockstar player, who's also a slacker then just buy our solar backpack and charge it up while at the field
As stated earlier it uses all 4 eyes too.

Grips on these are actually higher quality than our others in terms of the material. We use a machined clear plastic for the panels and window, and then overlay the microinjection rubber mold on it. The first thing people at the office said when they saw these was they like the way the board/screen looks in these better than the other grips. Although we still use the other style grips and have some coming in the pipeline for another board in a couple days.
The previous (and still current) OLED grips are all microinjection with a piece of metal in it. The only thing these lack is the wrap around, as they are rubber panels.
The reason for that is because a lot of the factories that used to make the microinjection for our grips have closed down, and the process is surprisingly difficult to do at the right price point. We've spent thousands to get this "right" and even then I think it could still be better in every case. With the wrap around, we were running into continual issues in protoyping of one half fitting perfectly, and the other half not fitting, etc. We even have hundreds of production order grips lying around that we paid for as finished production that are just crap and we had to start all over on. It's a fun process! But we like rubbery materials better than the alternatives.

I would love to see a true injection molded grip but they will cost 15k for the tooling before you pay for your first grip. There's no way to do that for just selling this small amount of aftermarket boards unless you want to see $500/board prices. We actually did manage this for the NT OLED boards, as it's a very nice injection grip just like Dyes, but not all manufacturers can be as accommodating with us to get their tools to work with our grips/boards.
