I'm not really sure if this is correct, but I think it's worth a shot.

The only time my firefox crashes is when I am on PBN.
Typically the screen will freeze and a number of ads will be frozen while everything else is blank.

Since it doesn't happen on any other site, I am assuming it is PBN.
Since the ads freeze (compulsive seems to "cascade" down the screen), I am also assuming it is due to the ads.


Ideas?

Is your flash player up to date?

to test it and check the version.
10.3 is the latest version

I would update it if you have anything below 10.2

Flash objects are active, and could cause a browser crash that normal picture files would not(jpeg, gif, png, etc...)

If it locks up during the test...or you have trouble installing the newer version, you can get an "un-installer" here:

then just re-install it using the above installer link

it talks about trying safe mode, turning off extensions, etc.. all good troubleshooting steps to follow.
