labs are easily trained and don't have any real problems but they are boring
also pure breeds, especially relatively uncommon ones tend to be inbred and have all sorts of annoying health problems.

I had a yellow lab/husky, she was impossible to train, didn't give a **** about what you wanted, begged for food nonstop, jumped on the table and ate my sisters birthday cake once, but was an amazing animal. I loved her a lot. My neighbor has a yellow lab who is really well trained but is so far from boring. She's really attention needy though

I've had all kinds of dogs during my lifetime. Beagles were my favorite single breed dog, but they're barking little things. Labs are cool, but too energetic and I haven't had a yard big enough for them in years. German Shepherds are ok, but not my kind of dog. Blue Heelers are awesome. Best dogs I ever had were mix breeds though.
Right now I have a 7 year old Miniature Pinscher named Sophie and a 3 year old French Bulldog/Yorkie mix named Jasper. They're pretty cool, except I think Jasper is retarded. And he marks a lot which is a male thing since he's not fixed and I HATE it...Mostly they both just lay around and sleep unless you're ready to play - Soph is a bit older so she leaves that up to Jasper usually.
Sophie (Min Pin) is VERY protective, and HATES strangers (especially men) and has bitten the mailman before, lol. But if you don't come aggressive and allow her to sniff you a bit, she'll be all up on you to be petted and friendly. When we got her she was so small she was in a little girl's shirt pocket - no lie. She was TINY.
My dumb dog Jasper is all about playing and barking - Soph has taught him to go ape **** when the doorbell rings or if a bird flies by the front door. Yapping little thing. He's cute though - with the brindle marking, he always looks worried and he's very loving. He picks up on things in a hurry, so I guess he's not all that dumb. The only thing that's bulldog about him is his front legs bow out when he sits.
Sophie
Jasper

Border Collie. You won't find a smarter dog. They're full of energy. My parents have two, one is 10 and the other is 4. The younger one doesn't really like to play ball like the other one. She's ten and she will still play all day long. The younger one has went kinda crazy after too much time chasing a laser pointer. Now she just barks at **** that's not even there.

Australian Shepards/Boarder Collies/German Shepards get my pick, all intelligent, active dogs with loads of personality. My aunt breeds Aussies and Boarder collies, the mix between the 2 is absolutely fantastic. Just gotta make sure you keep them busy or they will find ways to do so themselves.

**** beagles man, my girlfriend's beagle is just a lazy fat piece of **** who does nothing but lay around or bark like there's no ****ing tomorrow.
I do not own a dog, so I cannot say which are the best dogs.

Any answer that isn't "Corgi" is wrong.

border collies. so god damn ****ing smart compared to every other breed. my neighbor has a dog named Major, and i love him. he's smart, energetic most of the time, and according to my neoghbor he doesn't shed that much. but i don't know what breed he is he's not as big as a German shepard, but a moderate size, has medium-length black fur, pointy ears, and a poofy-ish tail. any guesses?
