its kinda cool, i bought one to try it out. pressing shift gives you a birds-eye-view instead of the "sniper mode" like in a tank which is pretty awesome for bombing the **** out of people, i know ive been killed couple out of nowhere by one. seems like it works well as long as you stay back and have people in lighter tanks that can run around and spot people.
fyi if you do try one, they dont have a rotating turret like a tank. the entire vehicle turns, it takes a bit for the reticle to zero in on where your aiming. |

Yeah I know how to work one, basically, I just don't have one. But after talking with some guys I decided I'm going to grind out to get the KV and then it's counterpart.

Good job.
Some of the guys in my new clan are, well, either wealthy or something. I think one of them just came from a really good clan that held property.. He gave me some gold ($50 worth) and I just got a KV-5 and a month of premium. Says so long as I'm at tier 8 in the next 2 months it's okay because I can help. Pretty badass.
In other news, just got my KV. After grinding it out with the KV-5 for a bit tonight and getting up to about 1 mil.

Umm, we did like 10 games or so with his Maus, my KV5 and the other guys' Panther II or his Lowe. I felt like, while using the Maus for cover, I was able to hit just about everything for 15-20%. Even the Maus I hit for 9% a few times and usually a 3ish. The armor does seem a little lacking compared to the others in it's tier but it was a lot cheaper than the other tank so it's expected.

Umm, I haven't noticed a huge difference so I'm assuming the same..
Stock KV is 25, KV-5 is 22, KV2 is 15.

Im still using my stock turret. The speed trade off isnt worth the armor. Since my derp has horrible reload anyone I'm at a disadvantage anway

I don't derp. I'm using stock until I get the KV3.
By the way, when the new patch releases, if you have the KV2 turret you get a new tank + a garage slot.

Someone told me 15 days, basically the end of the month. Then a month later they're releasing another patch for the German line.

Unless they just recently changed it you've got it backwards. Last I heard the germans were getting into patch 6.6(beginning of next month) while russian changes would be held off until 6.7 or 6.8. They are having trouble balancing out some of the new tanks.
