PMR 07 Noid Problem

My PMR Solenoid is missing the black rubber piece on the bottom of the noid. would that cause air to leak out of the barrel?

usually no. the black rubber piece you are refering to is called a sullinoid gasket, and usually leaks associated with them come from between the frame and the body. there is a leak chart for a pmr somewhere around here... i will find it and post it for you.

leak chart

it is hard to believe that you could be missing that piece and not have a leak out of the frame. but if by some magical weird way, you fixed the leak by changing an oring and not the gasket, i would just leave it. a sullinoid is expensive, but shopping around you could find just the gasket. maybe oringmonkey.com? anyway, try and fix the leak, and if it shoots without a gasket (i doubt it) then i'd just not use one.
