I would say get them a Invert Mini because they are pretty cheap and they are also very light so your daughters shouldnt have any trouble at all using them.

Invert mini, Bt tm7, Bt combat
these are pretty cheap and durable
of the 3 I would most likely go with the TM-7
Extremely light weight, Bt (battle tested) is a
SOLID company with EXCELLENT warranties
and customer service that is bar none fantastic!

A used Invert Mini. Light and inexpensive because of the upgraded Axe.

Since she's under ten, look at something not too complicated, like a tippmann 98.

A girl under 10 years old does not need a mini or rail. Just buy a cheap mech. spyder for her to have fun with.

I have an Ion, I bought it the day I tried paintball, and 3 years later, Im still beating every $1500 gun with my trusty "Anna Sophia" (My Ion) Probably the best starter gun, or if you want a new gun, maybe a GOG ENVY or GOG EXTCY.

No less than 12 year old kid should have an electro gun of any kind. Period. Mech only, semi-auto only. Make sure the hopper is as simple, and un-mess-up-able as possible. And you should be able to pick up a used Tippmann 98 plus a hopper for less than 100$. I've bought brand-new ones w/ a Cyclone feed on them for 98$ plus shipping. I've bought upgraded 98's for 30 to 50$ before as well. Starting a young kid off with a mech marker improves their skills faster and more reliably than tossing a full-auto paint sprayer in their hands. It also makes them appreciate it more when they step up to the electro gun when they have a couple of years under their belt, and are sure to stick with the sport. My team captain has followed this method with both of his kids, with his oldest just now graduating up to an electro marker this past year (he turned 12, having played since he was 9). His youngest is still <10, so she uses a '98 when she's allowed on the field. Most fields won't allow players <10 yo on the field w/o a parent/guardian.

I suggest either the empire er3 or the Spyder sonix. The tipmann griffins are also an execellent choice.

GoG eNVys are absolutely wonderful guns.
Get that, a small tub of lurker lube, and an NXT threaded lurker eigenbarrel in .684/NXT variety.
Have a day and she will love it for a long time.
It's comfy, VERY compact and lightweight, but not awkwardly "balanced" like a Mini.
It's also a smooth and quiet shooter.
if you're cool with a mech...
Empire ER3 and an Evil Pipe kit in spyder threads are to be found for $100 total, tops. That's what I run as a loaner for my father and for when I feel like playing silly. They're mechanical, reliable, durable and efficient guns. Great design and absolutely amazing for a low-end mech. Pretty comfy and the evil pipe kit has a .683 which works for pretty much everything and anything all the time. Feedneck clamps SUPER well and the ASA purges kind of.
and if you do it with soul and believe in pump play for beginners:
basic phantom with bottomline, hook it up to an adjustable output 13, 22, or 45ci tank should do the trick. Stick to open class if possible.

my sentiments exactly. if she's dead-set on her being able to compete in speedball then something a little nicer like a rail, mini, or ion/ion clone would be a safe bet. people hat on the ions alot but ive owned a few and they are decent guns if you keep up with them
that being said, IMO it's better to start with a mech or pump out in the woods as to better understand your roots. then buy her a nice mid-range or used high end for xmas, and be the best daddy ever.

Mini for sure. Will fit well in a younger player's hands. Also, the board is very easy to figure out and control.

I would suggest a Tippman 98 custon or a Invert Mini. Also an Ion Xe isnt a bad route but smart parts guns dont have warrantys anymore because Smart Parts went out of buisness, so thats something to take into consideration when buying a gun.
