Need help getting more in shape (picky eater)

I'm 18, 5'10, 160 lbs. I've played soccer for 15 years, used to play baseball, played football this year, and I've been playing paintball since I was a freshman.

I'm not sure of my body fat percentage. My problem certainly isn't exercise, I lift and play sports almost everyday, I'm a very active person. Since I started lifting about 2 years ago, I've gotten much stronger, however I can't seem to burn off the fat I have. I'm not getting more fat, however I'm not losing it either, I'm 100% sure that this is a diet issue because I'm a picky eater. Any suggestions or tips that can get me eating healthier?

find the healthy foods you do like and eat them more often. That's the big one.

Identify the bad foods you choose instead and eliminate or reduce those.

Already started that, thanks for the advice. I've completely cut soda, now to cut out the bad foods.

Sack up and stop being picky or find alternatives to what you don't like. There are like 1000 vegetables to choose from, you'll enjoy at least a handful of them. Same with good carbs, there has to be something you like or at least something that isn't too bad for you to mask the taste with.

I used to be pretty picky too. I started to get over it by using condiments on everything... BBQ, teriyaki, whatever. You just have to acquire a taste for better foods and build your palate. In offense, but most times that people say that they're picky eaters, they have the food preferences of a 12 year old. Yeah, bad **** tastes better than vegetables, but having a bit of self control is a key attribute for success in anything.

There are a number of ideas that people try to loose weight. One of the more popular ideas of late is avoiding wheat for awhile. Some people do that to loose weight. Others ideas are sleeping more as poor quality sleep can effect weight loss. Eating low carb is another weight loss tool some try. Checking out the thyroids health can be beneficial when diet isn't working.

A couple weight loss and health web sights I visit for information are:
