screw the lp adjustment scew all the way out(don't remove it just unscrew it) - pull open the lpr and set the cap, washer and spring aside. make like you're going to remove the piston but don't pull it out all the way past the 1st ring basically leave it were it would be with the adjustment screw all the way out( make sure it's centered).
Maybe the lpr piston is sticking in a position that is letting too much air through and therfore overloading the solenoid and causing it to vent.
once you've "reset" the piston repeat the process of gradually opening the lp until the bolt slides back then continue anothe 1/4 to 1/2 turn till you get to 80-100psi on the gauge
