I didn't care too much, it was kind of a mutual crash. My bike is still in riding condition, bars just got a little off-center and my back rim is kind of tweaked but easily fixable. Just glad I was able to land on my feet and ride away from it.

Can't really say i've moved on. My fixed gear is now reborn as a singlespeed polo machine. And i love it that way. The road bike is purely for commuting to work.

Oh, the moto wasn't a fixed. It was my original road bike. The Cinelli is going to be my first fixed.

I usually ride my fixed gear around for fun or an occasional booze cruise, but I can't say I really ride it seriously.

I think we all take pride in either being an elitist roadie or elitist fixed gear dick. I also think that it's part of bicycle culture, well that is if you take it some what serious or competitively.
