We entered the tournament with only 12 players in an attempt to get in better shape and to work on our core. We win 5 to 0 and 5 to 2. This record gave us a bye into the finals. We do the procession onto the fields and the first thing we here is their coach. He automaticly starts to trash talk saying "those ****ing brits... no idea how those wankers can play" (he was of african decent I think). The majority of my team already were ready to get in his face as this was entirely out of line, but our coach told us to keep our heads. He continued on to say "what a bunch of *****s listening to their coach".
We finally start the game and we dominated the match, but then their coach screams "play to win they only have 12 players". They began to punch us and continiously foul in an attempt to injure. Finally our fatigue shows and they play ****ing long ball bull **** and our keepr comes out to clear. As he kicks the ball their striker continues to kick his planting foot making him fall to the ground. Unable to move they have the ball on their side of the field. Our entire team goes to our ONLY keepr in an attempt to help. Their coach then says "SHOOT THE BALL". Needless to say they score.
The best of all was how the ref definitly was determined to let them win. I was given a caution for telling a player to please get away from our keeper. Three of their players gained TWO CAUTIONS, but were not asked to leave. I fouled a player pretty blatently (it should have given me a red). WE SPECIFICALLY ASK THE REF IF THE BALL WILL BE PLAYED ON THE WHISTLE!!! He says yes, so we continue to set our wall.
During the setting of the wall my back was turned to the ball to set the wall (our keeper couldnt move very well still). With my back turned they play the ball. No whistle? The ball is played and ends in the back of the net with all of us glaring at the reff.
The game ends 2 to 0. Their coach comes out and says "Don't you dare shake their ****ing hands. Let THEM suffer". We did not even stay for the award ceromony. If I ever meet that team again I WILL get a red injuring one of his players. Absolute ****. Thanks for letting me vent. I have never ever wanted to start a fight so bad in my life.
